Another semester has begun and the Tiger Cub Bands are well on their way to a busy and fun-filled year. I want to welcome all the parents to the exclusive club of middle school band parents. I hope we will have an exciting year of learning, concert, field trips, festivals and fun. Band is an activity for only a certain type of student; namely the special student who can handle the responsibility of practice, good behavior, and hard work. In other words, only the best are in band! Please carefully read and observe the guidelines provided in the Band Handbook provided at the beginning of the year. From time to time during the year I will be sending home more informative letters. I firmly believe that communication between parent and teacher is of utmost importance and look forward to hearing from you on any concerns, questions, or suggestions you might have.
